More on WWE Introducing Sin Cara, Meaning of His Name, Brand Speculation

When Sin Cara (Mistico) was introduced at WWE's press conference in Mexico yesterday, he came out in a Mistico style mask before taking it off to reveal his new WWE mask. Sin Cara reportedly means "Faceless."

WWE has setup a Facebook page for him at facebook.com/WWESinCara and a Twitter account is being setup. WWE will begin airing clips from the press conference on this week's TV and Monday's RAW. Mistico's signing with WWE is being covered my all the media in Mexico as it's considered a big deal.

Sin spoke at the press conference and said he doesn't know which brand he will end up on but said he is ready when called and proud to be working for the greatest promotion in the world. Lucha Libre journalist Kris Zellner expects Cara to end up on the SmackDown brand with Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio.

Vince McMahon has truly brought his aces to the table now. This past week on RAW, we saw the return of not only The Undertaker, but Triple H as well. And as rumors have been swirling around the net, this WrestleMania match has been, in a way, confirmed and is now official as both these legends have come face to face this week. The obvious storyline for this is Triple H seeking revenge against The Undertaker for ending his best friend’s (which is Shawn Michaels) career last year at WrestleMania 26.


This isn’t the first time these two have met on the grandest stage of them all. 10 years ago, at WrestleMania 17/X7, these 2 had a brutal match against each other. Obviously, since the streak is still alive, Undertaker won that match. On April, it’ll probably the same result. I don’t see Triple H winning at all. Reports say this will be Triple H’s last match, that this will be a streak vs. career match too, as he prepares for full-time corporate/backstage work as Vince’s heir apparent. Well, I hope this rumor is completely false as Triple H is still better than half the roster WWE has now. Plus, he’ll be solid in elevating youngsters. Even if he does ‘retire’, I still see him wrestling matches every now and then. As for The Undertaker, the streak will live on. But I hope WWE gives us a real scare on WrestleMania 27 with lots of false finishes and LOTS of finishers done by both these legendary WWE Superstars. Lastly, Shawn Michaels will probably get involved in some sort of a capacity, maybe as an enforcer, just to make things interesting and having The Phenom at a disadvantage. I don’t expect him wearing a referee shirt that day.

Hulk Hogan Believes The Rock Destroyed John Cena Upon His Return

In an interview with RosenbergRadio.com, TNA Star Hulk Hogan had the following to say on The Rock's return speech which he believes destroyed John Cena's reputation:

"They've spent so much time building John Cena up," Hogan said. "There's a way to really build somebody up, but all of a sudden within three or four seconds, he had the whole arena screaming that Cena sucks."

"Sometimes I don't understand the philosophy. John Cena is going to be there all the time. Even though The Rock said he's back, he's only back for one day. He's not going to be there wrestling every single day like John Cena is, really holding it down and really keeping it real. All that stuff is scripted. They had Stephanie McMahon and the writers telling The Rock exactly what to say. I just didn't understand why they would want to destroy Cena so quickly."

Sin Cara joins WWE (Mistico)

Sin Cara known as Mistico joins WWE Roster. On Thursday WWE announces in a press conference about the official signing of Sin Cara (Mistico) in Mexico City.

Stephanie McMahon said:

“Sin Cara is a tremendous performer who brings the crowd to its feet every time he steps into the ring. With us, his stardom will only get bigger and brighter.”

WWE Has Signed a Contract With Sin Cara (known worldwide as Mistico)
Sin Cara, known for his high flying style and awe inspiring acrobatics, is expected to reach new heights of global success with WWE.

Update On Kevin Nash's Contract Status With WWE

Kevin Nash (aka Diesel) posted the following on his official Twitter page: "I have a 5 year contract with the WWE. I'm sure in the next 5 years, You All will hear the Diesel engine again. Trust me."

While Nash is open and available to work in the future as an in-ring performer, the contract he signed was a Legends contract. Details are still being confirmed, but we believe he'll be used as more of a spokesperson for the company - much the same way Ric Flair was used before leaving to join TNA.

Christian comments on whether he's received medical clearance and his availability for WrestleMania 27

WWE star Christian was asked in a WWE website interview whether he's been medically cleared to return to the ring. "I don’t have a definite date yet, but I’m hopeful that it will be in the next few weeks," Christian said. "I'm not planning on missing WrestleMania:

WWE.COM: What were you doing in Oakland?

Christian: I was on my way to physical therapy in Florida and accidentally got on the interstate heading west. For the life of me I couldn't find anywhere to turn around and the next thing I knew, I was in Oakland whereElimination Chamber was. What a coincidence!

WWE.COM: How has your recovery been from the torn pectoral muscle inflicted on you by Alberto Del Rio?

Christian: I'm not going to lie, it was the hardest thing I've had to overcome in my entire professional career. There were days I wondered if I'd ever be able to compete again. But the reaction from my peeps, not only in Oakland but the entire WWE Universe, reminded me why I worked so hard to get back. And who knows? If I hadn't been injured by Del Rio maybe I would have won the Royal Rumble and it would be me challenging for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania.

WWE.COM: When will you be medically cleared to compete?

Christian: I don’t have a definite date yet, but I’m hopeful that it will be in the next few weeks. I'm not planning on missing WrestleMania.

WWE.COM: Any words for Alberto Del Rio?

Christian: Payback's a b**** ... but you already know that, Alberto. (laughs)
